DoE and robust process windows in injection molding (workshop at KATZ)
In medical technology, the highest requirements apply to process stability, traceability, and reproducible product quality. Especially in plastics injection molding, robust process settings and robust process windows determine whether new products can be validated safely and transferred efficiently into series production. This workshop at KATZ (Kunststoff- Ausbildungs- und Technologie-Zentrum) provides practical guidance on how data-driven methods are used from requirements through to process monitoring to sustainably safeguard injection molding processes.
- End-to-end practical focus: from customer requirements via MSA and DoE through to IPC/SPC and shrinkage studies
- Work directly on injection molding machines at the KATZ training and technology center
- Generate real process and quality data for modeling, optimization, and validation
- Combination of in-depth statistical methods and industrial implementation for medical-technology applications
